The city of Evansville could get bigger, if a plan to annex part of Knight Township goes through. Monday night the city coucil approved an annexation plan that would add more than 17-hundred new residents to the city. The area borders Morgan Avenue to the north, the Lloyd on the south, the county line to the east and the city boundry near Royal avenue to the west. Its an area that is booming with business. Thats a big appeal for the city. But not everyone aggrees with the idea. Many think the city is after more money. Property owners in the area have 90 days to protest.
