Another evansville middle school is making plans to switch to student uniforms.
McGary Principal Don Mosbey says he wants to create an environment in school that's more conducive to learning.
This has prompted him to conduct a survey of the staff and draft a proposed dress code for the school board.
Under the proprosal students will trade-in designer brands for khakis and collared shirts.
Three area middle school have already gone to mandatory uniforms.
This includes Harwood which credits the change to improvements in attendence, discipline, and academics.
McGary school officials say they will introduce the mandatory dress code measure to the school board on April 23rd hoping to get a decision by May 7th.
