School Bus Inspections Being Conducted Throughout The State
(Indianapolis) -- The Indiana State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division says state mandated annual inspections are underway on school buses.
Almost 15-thousand school buses statewide will be inspected.
Inspectors go through all parts of each bus during the inspection, including breaks, emergency exits, and first aid kits.
The buses are either approved, rejected or put out of service after each inspection.
Rejected and out of service vehicles will require repairs before being used to transport students.
