Man Auctions Off Entire Life Online, Bidding Hits Two-Million-Dollars
A man forsaken by his lover has put his entire life in Australia up for auction online, and so far bidding has hit two-point-two-million-dollars.
Forty-four-year-old Ian Usher of Yorkshire, England says hes fed up with his life and decided to sell his house, his job and his lifestyle after breaking up with his wife.
Usher values his three-bedroom home, his 19-year-old Mazda 929 sedan, a 1986 motorbike and a jetski at about 500-thousand-dollars.
When he went to bed on Sunday, he noticed someone had bid 650-thousand-dollars.
When he woke up Monday, Usher was astonished to see the bidding had surpassed two-million-U.S.-dollars.
Usher promises the winner will be introduced to his friends and lifestyle and will take over his former job as a rug store assistant.
After the auction, all Usher will be left with is his passport, wallet and the clothes on his back.
Usher says he plans to travel, donate to charity and climb the Eiffel Tower once the sale is finalized.
