breaking news
Six people are dead and one person hospitalized after a gunman opened fire at a Henderson plastics plant early Wednesday morning.
Police say 25 year old Wesley Higdon of Henderson was warned by his Atlantis Plastics supervisor to wear his safety goggles and not make so many personal calls.
Higdon is then believed to have gotten angry and left.
Police say he called his girlfriend, telling her he was going to shoot his boss.
He got a gun and returned to work.
That's when police say he shot his boss, 30 year old Kevin Taylor of Dixon, and five others, 25 year old Trisha Mirelez of Sebree, 26 year old Rachael Vasquez of Sebree, 28 year old Joshua Hinojosa of Sebree, 29 year old Israel Monroy and 22 year old Noelia Monroy, both of Henderson.
Noelia is the lone survivor.
She was last listed in stable condition at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
