State Police Investigate Murder Suicide in Orleans

Orange County – Thursday afternoon Indiana State Police launched a criminal investigation after a family member discovered the bodies of 80-year-old Lee Webb and 84-year-old Avis Webb at their residence, located at 645 Maple Street, in Orleans. During the investigation, Indiana State Police Detective Greg Ashby was able to determine that Lee Webb used a 16 gauge shotgun to kill his wife while she was sitting in a recliner in the living room. Lee Webb then took his own life using the same shotgun. Lee Webb was also discovered in the living room. Detective Ashby believes the shooting occurred early Thursday morning.
