The first victim of the tragic shooting at Atlantis Plastic is laid to rest. This afternoon Kevin Taylor of Henderson was remembered at the Rudy Rowland Funeral Home. It was a private service for Taylor, who leaves behind his wife and two children. Taylor was the supervisor on duty when the shooting took place. He and employee, Neal Higdon, reportedly had a dispute at work early Tuesday evening. Higdon left, and returned with a gun. Six lives were lost in the tragic shooting, including the gunman, who took his own life. Kevin Taylors wife, Sarah, released a statement earlier this week. She says shes praying to find forgivness and urged others to do the same. She says Higdon was a troubled young man, but also called him a friend.
