Skydiving With the Golden Knights

Some of the Freedom Festivals biggest attractions are the air shows. This year, the U.S. Armys Golden Knights Sky Diving team will add to the excitement. The team is made up of 86 elite soldiers. They travel about 280 days a year performing jump shows for the public. Their motto-- connecting Americas army to America. The golden knights have performed tandem jumps with George Bush senior, Chuck Norris and Tiger Woods. Since 1959, theyve used the best sky diving equipment available-- to perform some of the best shows in the world. Tandem jumper, Sgt. Michael Elliot, says, "We are just a small group representing all the soldiers out there fighting for our freedom."
