Old National Bank Promotes Kathy Schoettlin to Senior Vice President
EVANSVILLE, Ind., June 30, 2008…Old National Bank (NYSE: ONB) has announced the promotion of Kathy Schoettlin to Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing and Communications. In her new role, Schoettlin will oversee the marketing and communication activities and continue to manage the company’s public relations.
“I am very pleased to announce Kathy Schoettlin’s leadership advancement,” said Bob Jones, president and chief executive officer of Old National Bancorp. “Kathy’s marketing experience, extensive communications background and proven management and leadership skills make her fully equipped to move into this important role.”
In her new position, Schoettlin will report directly to Jones and will also work closely with Barbara Murphy, Chief Banking Officer, who oversees all Old National banking operations.
Schoettlin joined Old National Bank in April 2005 as Assistant Vice President, Director of Public Relations and was promoted to Vice President in 2006. Before coming to the bank, she was Public Relations Director at the Southwestern Indiana Chapter of the American Red Cross for 15 years.
Schoettlin is a communications graduate from the University of Southern Indiana. Outside of the bank, she is a board member for the Lampion Center, Habitat for Humanity and Mesker Park Zoo.
