National Average Gas Price Up To Four-Dollars-Ten-Cents A Gallon
The pain at the gas pump just keeps getting more intense.
Triple-A is reporting the national average price for regular unleaded gasoline is up to a new record-high of $4.10 per gallon.
That means the average price of regular unleaded gas across the country has increased 12-cents per gallon in the past month.
At this time last year, the national average gas price was $2.96 per gallon.
Meanwhile, crude oil prices dropped by more than $4 per barrel in todays trading to less than $141 per barrel.
The price drop is in response to the dollar gaining strength on predictions world leaders at the Group of Eight summit in northern Japan will show support for the U.S. dollar.
