A mother driving her three kids home on Mothers day turned off Highway 41 into the path of an oncoming pick-up truck. The accident killed two of her children, 8 year old Austin Parker and 10 year old Faith Parker. According to the Henderson County Sheriffs department, Misty Fowler was attempting to make a left off of Highway 41 onto Highway 416. Thats when a pick-up truck traveling north on 41 struck her car on the passenger side. Grandfather Terry Parker, Sr. says his grandchildren loved to play sports and just wanted to enjoy life. Misty Fowler was treated and released from the hospital. The driver of the pick-up also escaped the accident with minor injuries.
