Pornography and private financial information...an Evansville mom says her son was able to download both from a school computer. The mom wants to send a warning to other parents that if her son can do it, any child can. Kristie Murry says shes still in shock. Just a few weeks ago, while cleaning her 17-year-old sons room, she says she found a computer thumbdrive, "Being the parent that I am, I checked to see what was on it - inappropriate pictures." But Murry says the downloading didnt stop with pornography, "Hes downloaded off of 3 other teachers computers, stolen personal information, bank accounts, passwords, social security numbers." She says he was able to do all this while behind the walls of Central High School. Murry says her son has been suspended from school, and is currently at Hillcrest. She says she wants him to face the consequences of his actions. She also wants to warn other parents. She says if her son can commit this type of crime, any child can do it. Murry says her son faces felony charges for the identity theft. He goes to juvenile court next month. We made numerous calls to the School Corporation to ask about internet security, none of those calls were returned.
