breaking news
But will we know at the end of the night who will be running for Kentucky governor?
The 42 precincts here in Henderson County are just starting to bring in their ballots.
Polls closed just a few moments ago.
Counting these ballots will probably be the busiest the election workers have been today.
County clerk Renny Matthews says the typical hussle and bussle of election day was nowhere to be found.
She says on average by mid-morning each percinct only saw 50 voters much lower than normal, but all registered voters may get another chance.
Polls are prediciting only a 27 percent win for the democratic candidate but in kentucky gubenatorial candidates need 40 percent of the vote to win.
If that doesnt happen there will be a runoff in june.
With only 35 days to perpare it will be a lot of extra work and extra cost for the board of elections.
