Boil Order - Mt. Vernon

A Boil advisory is in effect for some customers of the Mount Vernon Water Department.
The advisory affects customers North of the State Road 69 Bypass.
The utility says the cause for the advisory is firefighters were practicing in the area on Wednesday-- and inadvertently drained all the lines.
Residents will have to boil thier water for at least the next 48 hours.
