Work on Twin Bridges

The lanes on the Twin bridges are about to get even tighter.
Next week, maintenance crews will shut down traffic on the bridges.. one lane at a time.
They will be working to get the driving surface in the right condition before the start of three lane traffic on the southbound bridge.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is asking drivers to play it safe while all of the work is being done.
The lane restrictions will be between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.. next Tuesday through Friday.
When the three lanes of traffic do begin on the southbound bridge, there will be two lanes going south... one going north.
Officials expect that change the beginning of June.
