Baby Ivie's Birthday

The family of baby Ivie celebrated a major milestone.
The toddler who was born with short gut syndrome turned three years old.
The medical condition left Ivies intestines outside her body and doctors little hope that she would survive.
Mother Kara Duncan says it was a relief and exciting to have everybody at the Newburgh community center celebrating.
She says they couldnt have done it without the generous donations that paid for operations and todays party.
Ivie is currently on antibiotics and rejection medication.
Her mother donated parts of her liver and intestines to save her daughters life.
