It happened at 4434 Windham Drive in vanderburgh county.
Sheriffs deputies say neighbors were having a small pool party with pleny of adult supervision.
Deputies say one of the parents noticed a boy floating face down in the water, quickly pulled him out, and administered CPR.
After about a minute, he started breathing.
"Here you had some vigilent adults, they found him quickly, administered rescue breaths to him, it might have saved his life," says Vanderburgh County Chief Deputy Sheriff Dave Wedding.
The boy was taken to the hospital for supervision, but deputies say he will be fine.
