Scott Elementary School is the only school in the EVSC to earn an exemplary rating in Indianas system for measuring progress. The system uses the istep-plus exam to rank schools in five categories: Exemplary, Commendable, Academic progress, Academic watch or Academic probation. While Scott is the EVSCs only exemplary school, eight schools are on probation. They are Bosse, Lincoln, Caze, Cedar hall, Culver, Evans, Howard Roosa and the Learning center.
