Train-Set-Recall "Thomas & Friends" Train Set Pieces Recalled (Washington, DC) -- More than one million wooden "Thomas & Friends" train set pieces are being recalled. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the toys, that were made in China, may contain lead paint. The toys have been on the market since January 2005. The lead in the paint is toxic and could pose a serious health risk to children who put it in their mouths. There have been no reported illnesses linked to the toys. Consumers who own the toys can call the maker, RC2 for a replacement. (Copyright 2007 by Newsroom Solutions/Regional News Service) RNS-06-14-07 0240CDT
