I-164 Accident

An accident on Evansvilles Eastside sent one man to the hospital today. It happened around 9 AM on I-164 near Green River Road. Police say a van and truck were traveling east on the highway when the two people in the van decided to make an illegal U-turn. The driver of the van slammed on his breaks and the truck following behind rear ended the van. Police say a man inside the truck had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital.
