High Speed Chase Suspect Charged

matthewgreathousemugshot2007-06-19-1182309061.JPG The man that lead police on a chase made his first court appearance this morning. 26 year old Matthew Greathouse is charged with resisting law enforcement, causing bodily injury while driving drunk and criminal recklesness. Greathouse is out on $5,000 bond. While out he's not allowed to drink, drive and has to take daily breathalizer test. Greathouse is accused of hitting cars on monroe avenue and driving through yards on alvord. He then sent police on a chase down the Lloyd Expressway where he crashed near the MLK exit. Two people including Greathouse were taken to the hospital.
