Gas prices fell $2/gallon in Evansville Wednesday afternoon.
It was part of a special promotion from radio station 103-GBF.
The station bought $2,000 worth of gas at $3.01, then turned around and sold it for only $1.03.
GBF says with gas prices climbing this summer, they wanted to help out their listeners.
Drivers had to get their gas quickly though, the low price only lasted about 20 minutes.
