Flood Task Force Proposal

It took 6 months to complete, and is more than 30 pages long. But members of the Evansville storm water drainage task force say... theyve come up with head off the flooding. The goal of the task force is to eliminate storm water overflows that cause persistent damage to several city neighborhoods.
Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel convened the group of engineers, experts and residents last year.
The group unveiled its comprehensive plan to address flooding by creating new standards for drainage... and outlining projects that the city should undertake.
The City council still must approve the plan... and find funding for it.
