A new store called Lasting Impressions opened today. Its the first elective ultrasound facility in Evansville. They use 4D ultrasound to show an unborn baby do things like smile, blink, and yawn, all in real-time motion. And they record it onto a dvd and set it to music so families have a keepsake. Co-Owner Greg Ashby says, "Its a chance to have a bonding moment between the mother and the child and the families. You have a very small window of opportunity between the 26th and 34th week of pregnancy to obtain these images." Pregnant woman have to undergo a medical diagnostic ultrasound before they do an elective one like the 4D ultrasound. Lasting Impressions is the first store in the area of its kind. Where: Lasting Impressions 1031 Mt. Auburn Road Evansville, Indiana Open by appointment: Monday-Saturday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Call: 812-401 BABY (2229) www.lastingimpressions4d.us
