National Guard Day on LST

Members of the historic LST 325 memorial host a day of appreciation for local soldiers. Service men and women from the Army National Guard, Reserves, and their families began climbing aboard just before noon Sunday. Touring and learning the history of one of the last ships of its kind. Sgt. First Class Paul Kemmerer was just one guardsman taking part in this day of appreciation. A treat from him...as he like many others prepare to deploy once again. Also on board were World War II reenactors and the captain of the time bandit, Andy Hillstrand. Hes a crab-fisherman on Discovery Channels "Worlds Deadliest Catch" and a resident of Chandler, Indiana.
