The debate continues over building a new power plant in western Kentucky.
A public hearing was held Friday night, giving people a chance to voice their opinion about the controversial Cash Creek power plant being proposed for Henderson County. The hearing was held at the Henderson County courthouse.
Hundreds of people, both for and against the proposed plant, turned out.
The Division for Air Quality stresses the draft permit is just that - a draft, not a final decision either for or against construction.
They say they will review and address all comments made to them, before making a decision.
The Division says responses will be given to every comment and concern, those responses will be available for public review at the courthouse.
