Cement Block Kills Illinois Woman

A WOMAN IS KILLED WHEN A CEMENT BLOCK THROWN FROM AN OVERPASS CRASHES THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD OF THE CAR SHE WAS RIDING IN. POLICE IN PEORIA, ILLINOIS ARE LOOKING FOR WHOEVER THREW THAT CEMENT BLOCK OFF AN OVERPASS ON I-74. THEY HAVE ASSIGNED OVER TWENTY OFFICERS TO THE CASE. TWENTY-SIX YEAR-OLD KATRINA KELLEY OF PEORIA WAS KILLED AROUND ONE-AM ON SATURDAY MORNING. SHE WAS A PASSENGER IN THE CAR THAT WAS HIT BY THE BLOCK. THE DRIVER WAS NOT HARMED. PEORIA POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING THE CASE AS A HOMICIDE, PEORIAS 13TH OF 2007.
