SOME GOOD NEWS FOR RESIDENTS OF-A MOUNT VERNON MOBILE HOME PARK. A SPOKESMAN FOR WALNUT GROVE SAYS A TEMPORARY WATER LINE IS IN PLACE. EARLIER THIS WEEK RESIDENTS AT WALNUT GROVE FOUND OUT THEIR DRINKING WATER CONTAINED ARSENIC AT LEVELS ABOVE STATE RECOMMENDATIONS. RESIDENTS WERE ADVISED NOT TO DRINK OR BATHE WITH THE WATER THAT CAME FROM AN 85-FOOT WELL. PEOPLE WE SPOKE WITH HAD MIXED REACTIONS ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THEIR WATER. THE NEW TEMPORARY WATER LINE IS CONNECTED TO THE CITY, THE SPOKESMAN SAYS A PERMANENT LINE SHOULD BE FINISHED IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS.
