THE MISSING THOUSAND WAS FOUND INSIDE RAINEYS PATROL CAR. THE RESULT, AN 18 MONTH SUSPENDED SENTENCE AND PROBATION FOR FORMER OFFICER RAINEY. 33-YEAR OLD RAINEY RECEIVED THREE BRONZE MERIT AWARDS DURING HIS YEARS OF SERVICE AS AN EVANSVILLE POLICE OFFICER.
