breaking news
The Little Sturgis Rally is in full swing in the town of Sturgis, Kentucky.
Thousands and thousands of bikers making their way to the local fairgrounds is a site those in the small town have become accustomed to seeing.
What most would expect though are groups like the hells angels and outrageous looking bikers.
But there are others making their presence known.... spreading a message.
"Freebird" is a Crusaders Member a group known for their dedication to Christianity.
He says they talk to people and try to tell them about Jesus Christ and his group has also blessed at least 35 bikers.
Michael Austin is another member of the Crusaders.
He says people often ask him why Christians are down here.
But he often replies...why not...its about having fun...its about representing and meeting people.
Little Sturgis Rally public relations spokesman James Roll says it also about charity.
He says that over the last fifteen years the rally has raised more than 1.8 million dollars and they are continuing to build on that number this year.
The rally comes to a close on Sunday after a rally wide church service.
Organizers say thats when they will have a better idea of attendance numbers and money raised for charity.
