Crawford Co. Drowning

A Mount Pleasant man drowns in the Little Blue River in Crawford County.
51 year old Robert Cotton was boating with a friend on the river near Alton yesterday.
The men jumped into the water to cool off, but Cotton never resurfaced.
The friend, Ryan Moiser, phoned police, and a search began.
Cottons body was found just after one this morning in an area of water eight feet deep.
The coroners office is awaiting toxicology results, but has listed the cause of death as accidental drowning.
