Jury selection is underway in a Tri-state murder case that gained international attention.
Russell Winstead is accused of the June 2003 murder of his aunt Ann Branson of Madisonville.
Investigators believe Winstead killed Branson because he owed her money.
The case was featured on "Americas Most Wanted."
Winstead was eventually found in Costa Rica.
He originally faced the death penalty -- but Costa Rica refused to extradite Winstead until prosecutors dropped their request for capital punishment.
The case was moved from Hopkins to Muhlenberg county.
