Second Major Recall For China-Produced Mattel Toys
For the second time this month, Mattel is recalling several toys made in China.
The current recall covers toys that have small magnets that may become a choking hazard, while the previous recall was for toys that have dangerous lead paint.
Acting Consumer Product Safety Commission Chairwoman Nancy Nord noted that there have been no reported injuries in any of the newly-recalled toys.
She noted getting the recalled products off store shelves is the easy part, but getting them out of home is difficult.
More information on the current toy recall can be found online at cpsc.gov.
