Local watchdog groups say E.Coli levels in Yellow Creek are too high, but just last month the state determined the water is safe for recreational use.
What seems like potentially mixed signals can leave peope feeling confused, so Thursday members of the Daviess Fiscal Court sat down with local, state, and regional officials to try to come up with some type of solution.
Since theres not likely an immediate threat of E.Coli due to the hot weather and dry conditions, officials have decided the next time the water is tested, the watchdog groups will sit down with the Division of Water and the Health Department.
Theyll then come before the Fiscal Court with the results.
