Daviess County’s Newest Park & Soccer Complex

 From: Daviess County Parks and Recreation Daviess County Fiscal Court is pleased to announce the Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting of Daviess County’s newest park and soccer complex, Horse Fork Creek Park, located 3005 Fairview Drive. This monumental ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 11:15 a.m. at the park. In case of inclement weather, the ribbon cutting will be moved to a later date. In conjunction with this event, Daviess County Fiscal Court will present Radio Disney’s eXtreme Team and Get Healthy Kentucky’s “Move It” program hosted by Daviess County Parks and Recreation from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Daviess County High School large gymnasium. Games, healthy snacks and prizes will be provided. Event will be hosted rain or shine, please use the school’s back entrance for registration. The 66-acre Horse Fork Creek Park offers 9 irrigated and crowned Bermuda soccer fields that can accommodate those age 4 and up. Parking for over 500, concessions, unique soccer field layouts, walking trails and fishing are just a few of the amenities the park offers to make it stand out from other soccer complexes in the region. Horse Fork Creek Park is also located within minutes of dining and shopping.
