schroeder2007-09-05-1189048685.JPG Back in June, officers with the Indiana State Police and the Conservation Department discovered 10-thousand dollars worth of marijuana growing in a cornfield. It was north of hill top road between Darmstadt road and old Princeton road in Vanderburgh county. Instead of eradicating the marijuana right away, they waited. And when 54-year-old Robert Schroeder came to care for his plants, they took pictures. Then they destroyed the plants. And they next time Schroeder showed up, they arrested him. He is being held in the Vanderburgh County jail on charges of cultivating and possessing marijuana.
