Mosquito Spraying Planned

The Vanderburgh County Health Department will be out spraying for mosquitos this weekend.
If the weather cooperates, they will be spraying two areas in Evansville on Sunday.
The first is the Bellemeade, Morton and Washington areas.
The second.. around the Lloyd Expressway, Vann, Lincoln and Boeke areas.
Over the course of the summer, six mosquito pools in Vanderburgh county have tested positive for West Nile Virus.
It is a mosquito-born illness that can cause the brain to swell and is sometimes fatal.
Its a good idea to use insect repellent when youre outdoors, especially around dusk or dawn.
Also, dump out any standing water around your house.
