LST Week 2007 In Evansville, Indiana Evansville: World Champion LST Builders during WW II and the home port of the only operational WW2 LST in the United States Wednesday, September 26th through Sunday, September 30th People from all over the USA will come to Evansville for the 2nd annual LST Week For media information Just some of the events: Wednesday · Breakfast onboard LST 325 Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. · LCVP “Higgins boat” rides on the Ohio River · Casino Aztar Night – reception at Casino Aztar, dinner and gambling available – Wednesday; 5 p.m. Thursday · LST WILL SAIL with guests on-board Thursday morning · Thursday Reception on LST 325 – 5 p.m. — General George S. Patton (in person) will give his famous opening speech from movie on deck of ship Friday · Indiana Lt.
