A three year old Spencer County boy is being treated in Louisville after he was run over by a truck this weekend.
Trenton Carter was at the Richland Fest Saturday with his parents.
He was standing on one side of the street with his mother and saw his father on the other side.
When he tried to run to his dad, he was hit by the truck.
Carter's injuries are no longer considered life-threatening, but he has a long way to go in his recovery.
Friends have set up a fund at Integra Bank under the boy's name, Trenton Carter, to help the family pay bills.
