New Harmony Bridge Update

The earliest the bridge over the Wabash River at New Harmony can open is next Wednesday. That is when engineers will be on scene to check it out. The White County Bridge Commission closed the structure Tuesday after an inspection crew noticed a crack in the bridge had recently gotten bigger. Crews put up temporary barriers, which have since been replaced with concrete barriers and other locks. Click on the "Watch" icon to see Jaimie Weiss story after Tuesdays announcement.
