Teacher and Coach Behind Bars

The South Spencer Superintendent confrims a math and science teacher at the high school was arrested for domestic battery.
Robert Ewing was arrested yesterday around 5:30 at The Coporate Center in Evansville.
Police say Ewing blocked his wives car in so she couldnt leave the parking lot.
Catina Ewing told police she locked herself in the car and he began banging on the doors and windows.
When Catina grabbed her cell phone she says she accidently unlocked the doors.
Thats when Robert took her phone, covered her mouth so she couldnt scream and got on top of her.
Catina eventually kicked her way free and called the police.
She told the police she and robert are in the process of a divorce.
He told her if she calls the police he has no problem making their children orphans.
Ewing teaches and coaches girls cross country at South Spencer high school.
He is charged with theft, criminal confinement, domestic battery and interference with reporting a crime.
