Fares Ave Shooting

A shooting near a Shell gas station sends an Ohio man to Deaconess Hospital.
According to police reports, 18-year old Robert Johnson and 25-year old Omar Pitts, both Job Corp students were walking on North Fares Avenue just before four this morning, when a man approached them.
Johnson and the unknown man began to argue. Pitts continued walking, then heard gunshots, turned and saw Johnson fall.
Pitts told police the shooter fired five shots, some in his direction.
Johnson was last listed at deaconess in intensive care. Pitts was not hurt.
Officers tried to track down the suspect but could not find him.
