The West Side Nut Clubs Fall Festival has come to an end but its what it leaves behind that most will remember.
The trash is now gone but impressions left by the event still remain.
While some residents in the area complained about issues with parking most agree that the benefits outweigh any hassles.
According to Festival Chairman Matt Wannemuehler problems with crowds were minimal and turnout this year was high.
He says the total community impact, the food booths, the parking and ticket sales put money raise at 1.7 million dollars.
At last check Wannemuehler estimated that the money raised this year will top last year by more than 100-thousand dollars.
