Update-Man in Rockport Stand-Off Makes Court Appearance

It was the first day in court for the man who held Spencer County police at bay for almost four hours. He remains in jail.. without bond. 40 year old William Rush of Cloverport Kentucky held himself hostage in his own car at Fifth and Main streets in Rockport Monday. Rush eventually surrendered peacefully to police. He is charged with resisting law enforcement, felon possession of a handgun and a parole violation out of Kentucky.
