Christmas Tree Wanted

Just 69 days until Christmas -- so it's time for many to begin their Christmas shopping -- including the downtown Evansville growth alliance.
The agency is looking for the city's official Christmas tree.
Officials say they would prefer a blue spruce or pine -- approximately 30 feet tall.
The tree will be selected within the next several weeks -- then cut down and delivered in time for the city's Christmas parade november 19th.
Any person who has a tree they'd like to nominate to be this year's official city Christmas tree, should email or mail a photo of the tree along with their contact name, phone number and address of the tree's location to the
