Updates on Evansville Boil Advisories

There have been several water main breaks across Evansville since Tuesday, causing American Water officials to impose several boil advisories.
They are the following:
Late Tuesday night
E. RIVERSIDE DR.-section from S. Villa Dr. to S. Boeke Rd.
VILLA DR.-section from Riverside to Culverson
RUSTON AVE.-section from Riverside to Culverson
ST. JAMES AVE.-section from Riverside to Culverson
Wednesday
E. RIVERSIDE DR. -from Adams Ave. to Howard
Late Wednesday night
MT. AUBURN RD.
BUCHANAN RD. - from Mt. Auburn Rd. to 1601 Scheipes Ln.
BISMARK ST.
OPTIMIST DR.
TREELANE DR.
Just before noon Thursday
UPPER MT. VERNON RD.-near The Brickyard Apts. in 3700 block
West side area of BARKER, LLOYD EXPWY., LEMCKE AVE., AUSTIN
UPDATE: Boil advisories continue until further notice from American Water. On Evansville's west side, water is once again flowing through a repaired 16 inch high pressure main that ruptured Wednesday night on Upper Mt. Vernon Road. Water samples will be taken tonight and Friday to test for contaminates. Water officials say the water is safe to shower, wash hands and do dishes with.
