Henderson Deputies Investigate Double Fatal Shooting

TWO MEN ARE DEAD AFTER A SHOOTING LAST NIGHT IN RURAL HENDERSON COUNTY. THE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT TELLS US IT HAPPENED AROUND 11:30, AT A TRAILER ON STATE HIGHWAY 8-11-AROUND 2 MILES NORTH OF US 60 NEAR BEALS. DEPUTIES HAVE TAKEN THE SUSPECT INTO CUSTODY TO BE QUESTIONED. THEY SAY THE TWO MEN WERE FATALLY SHOT WITH A HIGH CALIBER RIFLE. THE NAMES OF THE VICTIMS--AND THE SUSPECT--HAVE NOT BEEN RELEASED YET. THE HENDERSON COUNTY CORONER WILL PERFORM AUTOPSIES TODAY. WE SHOULD GET MORE DETAILS BY THE END OF THE DAY--KEEP IT HERE FOR THE LATEST.
