CJs bus is now in Owensboro assisting disaster victims after last Thursdays tornado. This is the first run for the bus constructed to help families ... especially children ... cope in the aftermath. The bus pulled into the area Sunday and since then has had more than 15 children aboard the bus. Kathryn Martin, creator of the bus, says they had to get clearance from the Emergency Management Agency before coming into the area or they would have been there sooner. She says she thanks God that they have the bus and that were able to provide a service that is obviously needed. The kids on the bus are kept busy with toys and activities. Martin believes it helps to take their minds off what theyve been through.
