Cargo Jet Makes Emergency Landing

A safe ending to a scary situation at the Evansville Regional Airport this morning. At around 6:30, city dispatchers got word that a cargo jet needed to make an emergency landing. They were told there was a hazardous situation onboard the oncoming aircraft that required immediate attention. The jet landed around 6:45 a.m. The hazardous threat was cleared. No one was injured in the incident. Authorities havent identified what the specific hazard was yet.
