INDOT Warns Of Placing Signs On Highways

The Indiana Department of Transportation is reminding Hoosiers that putting up signs along federal and state highways is a no-no. INDOT personnel are required by law to remove all unauthorized signs, including real-estate, and political from right-of-way areas. That includes the areas up to a ditch-line, fence line or utility pole In-dot officials say these area must remain sign-free for the safety of motorists
